Why choose The Keystone Academy?

Head Teacher’s Welcome

I am delighted to be the Headteacher at The Keystone Academy and am pleased to welcome you to our website.  I hope you are able to find the information you need right here but if not, we would be more than happy to answer any further questions you might have.

We were excited to open our doors for the first time in September 2022 and achieved a successful move into our fantastic purpose-built school in November 2023.

We are a specialist school based in Shrewsbury with a vision to inspire a love of learning for all pupils and to prepare them for fantastic futures beyond school.  Being a specialist school for pupils aged between 4-16 with social, emotional, mental health and neurodivergent needs, we nurture our pupils to become comfortable with their differences, learning to love their uniqueness and to find the future that inspires them to be their best self.  At Keystone, we play an important role in identifying and supporting the areas each individual needs to develop and grow to become confident young adults of the future.  We will always work collaboratively with families and agencies to achieve this.

Best wishes,

Ali Bellaby
